Quality Assurance Engineer
Position Overview
We're searching for a dedicated Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure that the Joblinx platform offers a flawless user experience. The ideal candidate will have a meticulous eye for detail and a passion for ensuring product excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze system specifications.
- Design, implement, and execute test plans and test cases.
- Collaborate closely with the development team to understand product changes and provide feedback.
- Identify, document, and prioritize software defects.
- Perform regression testing when bugs are resolved.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and comprehension of quality objectives.
- Monitor and create logs to document testing phases and defects.
- Provide timely feedback to the development team about issues and improvements.
- Engage with end-users to gather product feedback and understand their needs.
- Stay updated with new testing tools and strategies.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role.
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing.
- Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with automated testing tools like Selenium, JIRA, and TestRail.
- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Desirable Skills
- Experience in a startup environment.
- Familiarity with web and mobile application testing.
- Certification, such as ISTQB, would be an advantage.
- Prior experience testing job portal websites or similar platforms.
